Description: ASTOR. Home to the Brown County Historical Society, this 10-room Greek Revival structure (circa-1838) was originally home to Morgan L. Martin, one of the region’s prominent early politicians and a key player in the quest for Wisconsin statehood. The home, overlooking the Fox River, was a wedding gift to Morgan's bride, Elizabeth. Today, special care has been taken to ensure that the home is decorated with items that belonged to the Morgan's, including family portraits, personal effects, and antiques.
