These history pages give the community some understanding how the Martin Drive Neighborhood began,  who and what it was named after and a brief un-official history of the City of Milwaukee in which the Martin Drive Neighborhood resides.

     Additionally,  I have tried to find information about the freeway build out, housing stock, and other interesting facts about this neighborhood.  This is an on-going effort so initially the information is limited.  I am hoping as time marches forward, that other people will come forth with information to provide some interesting insights to this small pocket community.  I welcome corrections and additions along with source information to complete this online record.
