Martin Drive History -- Neighborhood Map

 

The map to the right shows the boundaries of the Martin Drive Neighborhood.  In and around this geographic region, there are parks, businesses, single family, duplex and multiple family dwellings.  This neighborhood has two major employers nearby, Miller Brewery and Harley Davidson Motor Company.

This neighborhood also supports many small and upstart businesses such as Eat Cake, Highland Park Pies & Cafe, Milwaukee Nut Company, a law office and State Street Animal Hospital among others.  

The neighborhood also has one school within its borders, but several private and public schools are nearby.

Grocery stores, hardware stores and pharmacies are within close proximity to the Martin Drive Neighborhood.

The neighborhood is served by three Milwaukee County Transit bus routes: Route 31 (Mayfair-Medical Center), Route 11 (Howell-Downtown-Vliet), and Route 30 (UWM-Downtown-Wisconsin-Sherman). The district 3 police station is located at 2333 North 49th street between Lisbon and North Ave at the north end foot of 41  stadium freeway and fire and emergency transport services are a short distance away.
